Description
The New York City Marathon is the most widely attended running race in the world: 42.195 kilometers that cross the five great boroughs of the city, from the climb over the Verrazzano Bridge in Staten Island — the most photographed point of the entire race — to the heart of Central Park, where every year over 50,000 runners write their own story.
The course is technically varied and mentally draining. The first 24 kilometers are relatively flat through Brooklyn and Queens, encouraging a pace that will prove costly later on. From the Queensborough Bridge onwards, the road transforms: a continuous up and down of hills severely tests muscle reserves just as the body begins to falter, between the thirtieth and thirty-second kilometer. This is where the marathon is won or lost — not only with the legs, but with the mind, as the road seems endless. The final kilometers enter the heart of Manhattan, with the 500 flat meters along Central Park's Reservoir accompanying those who have endured to the finish line.
The race began in 1970 with only 127 entrants around the perimeter of Central Park. Italian Orlando Pizzolato remains the only athlete from our country to have won it, for two consecutive years: 1984 and 1985. In 2025, Hellen Obiri broke the women's course record with 2h19'51", bringing the race back to the front pages worldwide.

Care and cleaning
Heroroads are made from bio-based material and should be treated with the same care you would give to things you love. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and keep them away from heat sources: the material should not exceed 70°C. For cleaning, a soft, dry cloth is sufficient—no solvents or aggressive products.

The keychain format comes with a strap, is small, lightweight, and can always be carried with you. Height up to 5 cm
The compact version, ideal for those with limited space or who wish to create an endless collection. Height up to 12 cm
Original
The classic Heroad size, the right balance between stage presence and detail. Height up to 30cm

1. Does the shape reflect the actual route?
Heroroads faithfully reproduce every single curve, hairpin, or false flat
Each model is designed using a precise and accurate 3D drawing based on a GPX track of your achievements
2. I can't find my climb and/or route, can I request it from you?
We can create any route or segment. By sending us the GPX file, you can view the rendering in 24 hours and receive the 3D print at home within a few days. Go to the dedicated section ->
3. Can I add a name, date, or dedication?
Yes. The HEROAD Custom can be further customized with text, a logo, or a beech wood base to make it even more unique.
4. What material are HEROAD made of?
HEROADs are made of PLA (Polylactic acid). PLA is a corn-derived material.
Protect from direct sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures above 80°C. To clean, use a soft cloth, avoiding direct sunlight and harsh detergents.
5. What sizes are available?
There are 4 sizes available:
Micro— The keychain size, up to 5 cm high
Pocket— The compact and collectible version, up to 12 cm high
Original— The right balance of stage presence, up to 30 cm high
Big— The display version, for events, awards, bike hotels, up to 60 cm high

6. How long does it take to receive a HEROAD?
It takes 3-4 days for Heroad deliveries in Italy and 7-10 days for international deliveries. This is because each Heroad is produced to order. If you are in a hurry to receive it, please let us know in the notes field during checkout.
