Description
Alpe d'Huez is the most famous climb in world cycling: 14 kilometers in the French Alps, 21 hairpin bends numbered in reverse and named after stage winners, an enormous crowd on Tour de France days that transforms the ascent into a unique collective ritual. From Le Bourg-d'Oisans at 720 meters up to 1,850 m at the resort, there isn't a cyclist who hasn't dreamt of riding it at least once.
The climb starts immediately with a harsh gradient: the first hairpin bends are tackled at 11%, relentlessly, before the gradient settles to an average of 7.7%. The 1,091 meters of elevation gain accumulate continuously, with the 21 hairpin bends marking the ascent like chapters of an epic — each bearing the name of a champion who won there. There are no easy sections: Alpe d'Huez demands a constant pace and a clear head from the very first meter.
It was Fausto Coppi who won the first stage finishing on the Alpe in 1952, inaugurating the tradition of high-altitude finishes in the Tour de France. Decades later, Marco Pantani wrote his brightest page here: in 1995, he climbed the 13.8 kilometers in 36 minutes and 50 seconds, a record that no one has yet broken. Every hairpin bend is a name, every name is a story — and on this road, the history of cycling never stops being written.

Care and cleaning
Heroroads are made from bio-based material and should be treated with the same care you would give to things you love. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and keep them away from heat sources: the material should not exceed 70°C. For cleaning, a soft, dry cloth is sufficient—no solvents or aggressive products.

1. Does the shape reflect the actual route?

Each model is designed using a precise and accurate 3D drawing based on a GPX track of your achievements
2. I can't find my climb and/or route, can I request it from you?
We can create any route or segment. By sending us the GPX file, you can view the rendering in 24 hours and receive the 3D print at home within a few days. Go to the dedicated section ->
3. Can I add a name, date, or dedication?
Yes. The HEROAD Custom can be further customized with text, a logo, or a beech wood base to make it even more unique.
4. What material are HEROAD made of?
HEROADs are made of PLA (Polylactic acid). PLA is a corn-derived material.
Protect from direct sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures above 80°C. To clean, use a soft cloth, avoiding direct sunlight and harsh detergents.
5. What sizes are available?
There are 4 sizes available:
Micro— The keychain size, up to 5 cm high
Pocket— The compact and collectible version, up to 12 cm high
Original— The right balance of stage presence, up to 30 cm high
Big— The display version, for events, awards, bike hotels, up to 60 cm high

6. How long does it take to receive a HEROAD?
It takes 3-4 days for Heroad deliveries in Italy and 7-10 days for international deliveries. This is because each Heroad is produced to order. If you are in a hurry to receive it, please let us know in the notes field during checkout.
